Hey Creative friends!
Gwen popping by today to share with you the wonderful creations from this months guest designer Mel Davis! I just love her creative style and she certainly has rocked the cut files! Her first project features our ‘Totally Pawsome‘ cut file.
Here’s what she said about creating this one “I like to back my files by using the contour feature in the Cricut software. I’m sure there is an easy way to do it in the Silhouette software too. A striped paper is a great choice for this sort of thing as it looks like you did a lot more work than you actually did!”
And this is her second fab project, it features our ‘Concentric Hearts‘ cut file in the 8.5 x 11 size. This one also comes in 12 x 12 background-size. This layout also shows off our ‘Geo Floral Leaves‘ cut file, cut in the sweetest mint card stock!
“For the second page, I used my foil quill with the concentric hearts file. I only had small rolls of foil but I love how it turned out. For those that don’t have the foil quill, using markers or metallic pens with their machines would give a similar effect. I added in some geo floral leaves in my embellishment clusters.”
I really do love what Mel put together for us as our guest this month! Thanks so much for joining us Mel 🙂
Until next time,
