Hello Scrappy Friends,
I’m up on the blog today to share with you some fun layouts I have created in my traveller’s notebook using CUT to YOU Cut Files.
To create this spread I used the new Rainbow Days Cut File. I was inspired by the thumbnail to cut it out of black card stock, and I’m so happy I did as it makes the colours in my rainbow really pop!
I have to admit, I found it a little tricky to put a different paper under each arch of the rainbow, but I’m so glad I did!
I echoed these colours in the Rainbow Days title, again with the Cut File in black, and I think this looks really sweet and gives lots of impact.
The second spread I wanted to share today is one using the Make Waves Title Cut File, which is not specifically designed for the TN but I was able to make it work.
I resized both the titles and the waves in the file to be the right dimensions. Due to the proportions of the title, it worked best to flip this on its side.
I cut the word ‘make’ from a second sheet of paper, and stuck it on some thin foam tape to make it pop.
I resized and merged the waves to fit to the right side of the spread, backing them in a few spots with some patterned paper.
Thank you for stopping by today. I would love it if you stopped by the Facebook group to share some of your TN creations, I’m always on the look out for TN designers.
