Hi everyone, this is my first blog post as a member of the Cut to You DT and I am super excited to be here! I live in the UK so after a festive December and lots of cold, winter photos I have gone for something completely different and have embraced summer! I used the Urchin Background cut file which was perfect to go with this cute photo of my nephew at the seaside.
I cut the Urchin background from patterned paper and before sticking it down I traced the flower centre of each sea urchin onto patterned papers and cut each of them out.
Then I stuck the Urchin background directly to white card only using glue in the centre of each of the sea urchins so that I could curl the edges to create some dimension. I trimmed the parts of the cut file that were just off the edge of the white card at the top and left of the layout.
To add detail to each sea urchin I added the paper flowers to the centre and then decorated each with a puffy sticker.
I then added my photo which I mounted onto some of the matching patterned papers, and finished with a title following the edge of the sea urchin.
