I used a fun rainbow striped patterned paper for the cut file and then backed all the non-star circles with vellum. I picked three of these to make shaker pockets and to do this I added thin strips of foam tape around the back edge of each circle behind the vellum. Then I filled each one with some sparkly sequins that coordinated with the stripes on the cut file, and finally added another circle of vellum to seal them in!
Then I attached the cut file to a 11.5″ square piece of white textured card using foam pads. I had already stuck the white card to a frame made with the same rainbow striped paper that I had used for the cut file.
I added back the stars from the cut file using more foam pads, and placed them slightly off centre.
I mounted two small photos with patterned paper and attached them to the bottom right of the layout, raising the top edges with foam pads. Then the fun bit…. adding the embellishments! I used tone on tone word stickers on the cut file, and lots of other matching ephemera, stickers and enamel stickers to the top and bottom of the photos.
Finally I added a one word title for the fab exhibition that we saw in Kew Gardens in London last year….
You can find this cut file and loads more over in the CUT to YOU shop! Don’t forget to pop on over to the CUT to YOU Facebook group to share any layouts you make using one of the cut files… thanks for looking today, see you later in the month!
