Hello again scrappy friends,
My turn on the blog today to share with you another fun layout. For this one I have used the Grade School Cut File that was released in January.
I cut the file using yellow card stock, keeping the inside piece from the number 4, which I traced and cut out from a piece of patterned paper.
I added some gesso and mixed media behind the Cut File, focusing on the area my photos would be situated. I adhered the Cut File directly to the background, and mounted the number 4 onto some foam tape before adhering it on top of the 4 in the Cut File.
It’s a little difficult to see, but I’ve gone around the Cut File with white gel pen and then smudged some white gesso over the file to soften it a bit more.
To complete my page, I created lots of layers and tucked lots of embellishments around my photos. I tried to keep this pretty tight so that I didn’t cover too much of the Cut File.
Thanks so much for stopping by again today. If you have back to school photos you need to scrap, there are some great ones in the shop!
