Hello cut file crafty friends, today is all about florals and leaves in bloom! I have used the gorgeous new cut file Lots of Leaves Frames.
And here is what I created.
I have used the new collection Bloom street by Paige Evans and hand made flowers (yes get your hand punches out and layer away!).
Instead of my go to white base paper I have used this gorgeous multi coloured striped paper as I joined in the great challenge over at CSI Challenge Blog.
I cut the file at approximately 10×10 inches and then backed the lower frame and leaves in the same paper. I then added my photo to the top frame.
This type of cut file makes it so easy to embellish in such an eye catching way. I set about embellishing the bottom frame by adding my title, a die cut phrase, adding a layered flower and die cut butterfly. I went off centre for visual interest.
I added my layered flowers in amongst the leaves coming off the frames, this way they look like they are a part of the frame.
To finish off I added some phrase sentiments and more flying beauties such as this lovely bird as well as the butterflies.
This is a very ‘busy’ layout for me but I like it for a change of pace so to speak (back to white card stock tomorrow lol!).
Thank you as always for stopping by and more than ever in these challenging times how lucky are we to have such a hobby to fill our time at home.
Take care and stay safe.
