Hello scrappy friends! I hope you all are healthy and coping well. 🙂
I recenty was gifted some photos of my grandmother and myself as a young child and I have found such enjoyment in scrapping them.
For my share today, I am featuring the beautiul Spring Roses Cut n Stich cut file.
I discarded the cut n stitch aspect and cut two of the design. I wanted to keep this page simple and focus the colors on our outfits in the photo.
Prior to adding the completed cut file pieces, I used some paint to add a few splatters on the backgound to add a touch of color and visual interest.
I then added some simple triangles to help ground the cut files and also tucked some of pieces under. This layout came together quickly and it has a pretty, soft balance to it.
If you haven’t browsed the CTY store lately, you need to go see all the wonderful new goodies that have been released! There are three new kits as well as a special social isolation (home bodies) release that has several files to help you document this challenging time.
Thanks for stopping by! Stay safe!
