Hello creative friends! I’m so excited to be sharing my first layout with you today. I was inspired by the 2nd Year in Business Mood Board challenge to scrapbook a photo of the stunning bouquet of flowers I received from my husband on our first wedding anniversary.
I’ve used the gorgeous Chevron Bouquet cut file as the main feature for the background of my layout.
I created some soft and textured elements on my white background using mixed media. I then matted the white background onto some pink patterned paper and added a stitched border using my sewing machine. I manipulated the Chevron Bouquet cut file in my software to remove about half of the frame and cut it out in two different sizes. I adhered these to the top left and bottom right of my page to frame and draw the eye towards my photo.
Using papers from Cocoa Vanilla Studio I created a fairly simple layered matte for my photo, finished with some soft layers of white tissue paper. I created some beautiful layered clusters along each side of my photo using some elements from Cocoa Vanilla Studio along with some really soft and delicate die cut layers using the Floral Bouquet, Posey Duo, Leaf Duo and Lots of Leaves cut files available in the CUT to YOU shop.
I added journalling in strips below my photo and created a title using some puffy gold foil alphas and a chipboard word from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I finished off the layout with a sprinkling of enamel dots around my embellishment clusters.
