Hello friends! I am back with a new layout using The Sweet Life cut file.
For this layout, I am scrapping photos of my grand-love and her friend getting pedicures. This is a back-to-school tradition in the making. The past couple of years, the weekend before school starts we like to go for a little pampering. It was a fun girl’s day, for sure!
I cut The Sweet Life title extra large to make it the main element on my page. I glued the outline portion of the file directly to the cardstock and popped the actual letters up on foam tape for some added dimension. I used a white Posca paint pen to outline the edge of each letter. I think this gave the letters more definition and interest.
Here is a view of the cut file from the side, so you can see the dimension and details of the title.
I didn’t go too embellishment heavy on this layout, because the title makes a BIG statement and too many extras might make things a little too busy.
This was a fun layout to put together and I love that Gwen’s cut file designs make putting a layout together so quick and easy! If you would like to see the process video of this layout coming together, you can see it below.
I hope you have a great week and that you find a little scrappy/pampering time during this busy time of year!
