Hi Friends! Khristina here with another gorgeous layout using the Star Light Star Bright Cut File along with some gorgeous sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps. I am totally in love with how this cut file ended up looking and I want to encourage you to cut apart your cut files! I know it can be a little scary but grab those scissors and cut them up!
For this layout, I started with a dark colored patterned paper that had a back that I knew would really pop! I created two little flip over areas on the layout and used the bottom right corner to be a fun home for my journaling. The one on the top of the layout simply contains more of my cut file pieces.
I then went ahead and cut my Star Light Star Bright cut file into a bunch of different pieces so that I could make a few clusters. I ended up adding some orange inking to the top of the cut file and didn’t fill it in completely in order to create a slightly distressed look. I added a few patterned paper pieces to create a photo mat which really helped my photo pop off the page as well.
I fussy cut a few elements and then simply added a few clusters of gorgeous SpiegelMom Scraps sequins to each of my clusters. It was the perfect finishing touch to combine with some cork stars for some additional texture and fun!
I hope that you love seeing my take on this cut file AND that you will take on the challenge to choose a cut file and simply cut it up so that you can use it in clusters throughout your layout!
