CUT to YOU | You Are Some Bunny Special | Some Bunny Special Cut File

Hello Everyone, it’s Piroska here today with my latest layout for CUT to YOU. As Easter is just around the corner, I wanted to play with some of the new Easter cut files of CUT to YOU. My task was to make a layout with a title cut file, so I chose the Some Bunny Special cut file for my layout.

I scrapped a photo of my daughter that was taken back at Easter 2017, she had a bunny ears headband on, she was just so cute! She was just trying to ride on her balance bike, which was also new, with all the accessoires a bike can have 😉

First I cut the Some Bunny cut file from white cardstock, then I started to back them with pastel coloured paper. For this I used the Flora Book 2 paper pad for fussy-cutting of Mintay Papers. This paper pad is awesome: on the one side it has beautiful florals, on the other some coordinating beautiful coloured cardstock. I chose some pastel colours and backed each line in different colours. I glued down the whole line and after waiting some seconds I started to cut out the letters using scissors and a craft knife. Then I repeated this with the next line. It was much faster this way then backing the letters one by one.

I also matted my photo with the same coloured cardstock I used for the cut file. I chose a background paper from the Better Times collection of Mintay Papers, and glued the photo on the left side of the cut file, because my daughter goes on the photo to the right.

I fussy cut lots of flowers from the Flora Book 2 paper pad, and started to decorate my layout with them. I often decorate my layouts diagonally, especially when I use a title cut file. It makes the balancing of the layout just easier.

Finally I added some chipboards of ScrapUp Scrapbook from my stash.

I hope I could inspire you to use title cut files on your layouts. They make the work so much easier, as they are big and dominant. You can find many awesome title cut files in the shop, and don’t forget to check the April Release too, you won’t regret! 😉
