Hi CUTtoYOU lovers!
So nice that you are here again! Today I would like to show you this layout I made with the stunning TN Floral Spring file. A TN file is meant for in our travel notebooks, but… It is also so perfect for layouts! This layout I decided to replace the design papers completely with solely a cut file!
I cut the file 3 times, every time a bit smaller than the previous one. I used white and black cardstock. The white cardstock I colored with distress oxide. I layered the black one on top of the mint one and glued them together but only a few dots so they would stand apart here and there…
I decided to save the inner pieces of the cut file. Inner pieces make great little embellishments! I always try to see if an inner piece is “embellishment material” ! That is also the case with the TN Spring Floral file!
I colored the smallest piece also with the same oxide color and tucked it under the white base sheet. This way the pattern repeats itself which I always like.
It’s really fun to use a cut file multiple times in the same project! It creates dimension and how fun is it to get those machines working! Did you know that for our European fans there is a special Etsy shop? A small warning though…. It’s highly addictive (speaking from experience 🙂 )
See you next time!
