Hi you lovely CUTtoYOU fans!
So good to have you back on the blog! Over here in the Netherlands, Halloween is not really celebrated… it slowely slowely is growing, but trick or treating is not really happening. Sadly, cause I loooove Halloween! So, we decorate our house no matter what. We also go to Moviepark Germany every year for the Horrorfest, but due to COVID……
For this layout I used the a-ma-zing Jack o’ lantern file! I don’t think Jack tries to be cute here, but I adore him hahaha.
First I started with removing the outer line of the cut file. Then I cut Jack out of black card stock and then again out of orange cardstock.
I only used the rest pieces and made them a bit “older” by distressing them with some oxide. I glued the black card stock on a piece of orange card stock and simply filled the puzzle with the orange pieces.
I love how that turned out! I did not back the file, because I wanted to distress the edges (I used vintage photo), which is a bit more difficult to do if you back the file. But since Jack is rather big (sorry Jack), the ”puzzle method” worked perfectly!
I’m really pleased with how Jack turned out! Have you seen our Halloween bundle? That bundle gets you flying into Halloween!
Thanks for joining again and happy haunting people!
