Hi Cut To You Creatives, Karen sharing with you a super sweet layout featuring the Shine Bright Build a Page file. I am also solving another CSI Cold Case and this one is number 370. I have to admit this one is different for me, I don’t often use softer colours but I love how it turned out!
To go along with the colour board choices for the CSI challenge I also leaned in on some of the options from the evidence list. I couldn’t go past the cheesecloth and gold elements.
I have used pretty much every component of the cut file by using the negative and positive sections,. I love it when that happens. To reflect the gold element I went a little old school and covered the letters gold embossing powder. I was undecided if I was going to pop the letters up on foam and nestle them inside of the cut file but I opted to keep them flat and just glued them into place inside of the title.
The moon portion of the cut file was backed in patterned paper and once I added the sequins I felt it needed more to make the layout feeling more dreamy and that is where the muslin (it’s sort of cheese cloth right?) came in. I tucked it across the moon to give the appearance of floating.
