Joy Joy | Christmas joy digital cut file | Petra de Vroege

Hi sweet Cut to You friends!

So nice to see you again! Yes, I know… Christmas is far far away yet, but I couldn’t resist to scrap last Decembers photo with this amazing Christmas Joy cut file!

I started with (as usual) cutting the file from white card stock. I wanted to create a full background, but wanted to keep it clean, so I decided to place the white card stock on a white background. I glued the file bit by bit… so first the top half of the top row and slowly glued it down. Don’t try to glue this file at once, at least… that didn’t work for me haha.

I cut a circle from my photo and layered it with 2 different design papers. I punched holes so I could cross stitch around the photo.

I used the inner parts of the words as a template to cut the Joys out of 3 different design papers. I distressed the edges and glued them with a bit of foam tape so they are slightly elevated.

Time to glue down the photo. I thought it would be fun to attach a piece of floss so it would look like a Christmas ornament. Some beads to finish it off and voila!

Finish it off with some embellishments and there we are. I loved creating with this file. I love to keep my backgrounds clean but still have the eye catching cut file as its star!

Have you seen the Christmas section in the shop? In my opinion, you an craft Christmas the whole year round!

Happy (Christmas) crafting!
