Hello Cut to You crafters! I am pumped to share another project with you all today. I am definitely missing warmer summer temperatures here in the northern hemisphere and that was in my mind when I planned out my projects for March.
I went traditional and cut the files with white textured cardstock to back with fun tone on tone style pattern papers from various 6×6 paper pads.
I started my stacked title “scene” at the top with the clouds and sun from the Summer Page Builder file. I cut off the actual title piece that is included in the design file for Beach Life and used only the umbrella and beach ball portion of the file.
Moving down, I backed the title from the Summer Page Builder file with colorful papers in a rainbow order, and layered on some fun swim and beach themed icon stickers to add interest to the title area.
I cut out the “fun” section of the title three times and glued the layers together to create a thicker and more dimensional version of the piece to stand out a little bit more. I printed my journaling and cut it into strips that I then backed with foam adhesive strips.
I edited a quick process video to share a little bit more about the creation of this layout and would love for you to take a look.
