Hello Cut to You friends!
Crystal here today with a very special layout. I have a thing for pineapples. I am Pineapple Papers over on YouTube and @pinapplepapers on Instagram (yes I know it is spelled wrong but the other handle was already taken). When my husband took me to South Carolina for vacation the only thing that I really wanted to see was the Pineapple Fountain. Which you can legally get into by the way. I was so excited to document this picture and the Pineapple Punch cut file was the perfect!
I decided to make a giant shaker pocket out of this cut file. I cut the file at 11 inches tall out of some embossed metallic paper. With some wet glue I applied some acetate to the back. Once that was dry I fussy cut the acetate. I cut some foam into thin strips and applied them all around the cut file making sure there were no gaps. I filled the cut file with some sequins. To hold the sequins in I again applied wet glue to the foam and placed a piece of vellum to the back. I allowed the glue to dry. Once it was dry I fussy cut around the cut file and attached it to my background paper.
I backed my photo with several paper layers. I popped it up on some foam so that it would sit even with the cut file. Finished off with some embellishments and stickers. I even gave the cut file a bow.
You can see the entire process over on YouTube.
Thanks so much for hanging out with me today and Remember to wear your Crown!
