Oh So Happy | Jamie Striplin

Hello CUT to You friends! I know I’m not alone in my love for anything with scallops! It’s just such a sweet design and this Scallop Banners cut file is no exception! I am a big fan of cut files that are versatile and this one can be used so many ways!

For this Layout, I knew I wanted to cut out a bunch of scallops from a piece of patterned paper with rainbow colored stripes. I measured the stripes on my paper and resized the cut file so it would cut them out perfectly. I made them all slightly different lengths so they would have some variation. After gluing them down, I stitched through each banner. Originally, I had planned to use the banners horizontally, but as I started layering, I realized it would cover a big chunk of the color and I didn’t want to do that! So I flipped by layout so the banners were vertical and I love the look this gave the page!

I also cut a bunch of these scallop borders out of white to use as layering pieces. Love me some layering pieces!! I adore these sweet photos of my daughter in her sun hat last spring! The scallops complement the sweetness of the photos so well! This is definitely a cut file I will use over and over!

Thanks for looking! Make sure to hop on over the CUT to YOU shop and grab this super sweet cut file!

XO, Jamie
