I wanted to do something a little different with the cut files, so instead of doing the traditional outline as the file is designed, I altered the file a bit and created solid bases for both the Movie Night and the Popcorn cut files. From there I cut out the layers that would normally be backed behind the cut pieces and instead attached them to the top of the solid bases. Some of the layers I glued directly to the base piece, and others I used foam adhesive to pop up and create some additional dimension and interest.
I also decided to pull out some black glitter paper to cut out some of the layers in the movie ticket section to add even more texture and fun.
I created the same solid style base layer for the Movie Title file and popped up the letters on top of this base layer. I also printed my journaling with white text on a black background for a unique twist to my journal strips and fit in with the colors and theme of my page.
