Hello crafty friends! I just love this cupcake cut file! It is is extra sweet with the hearts in the frosting and I was so excited to have the perfect photos to use with it! My best friend brought me these amazing pink champagne cupcakes from a fancy bakery for my birthday and my daughter was delighted to get one all to herself!

I knew I wanted the cupcake to be the focus of this page, so I sized it to cut out pretty large. I picked out some pretty papers from a birthday line and backed the hearts and bow first and then the frosting and cupcake liner. Since I chose to use white card stock for my background, I traced lightly around the cut file and used some light pink ink to create a whimsical hazy pink shadow around it. I really love how this turned out and gave the page some simple dimension.

Under the photos, I added in some modeling paste hearts and tissue paper for some simple layering that would add texture and dimension without taking away from the star of the page – the cupcake! I finished the layout up with a little gold splatter and a few gold sequins for a little glam.
