Karen with you today sharing a really special layout where I was celebrating my 50th Birthday with a Extended Family Photo Shoot before the party. My heart was truly bursting this day so the Sunburst Heart file was perfect!
I backed the file with gorgeous patterned pater from Pink Fresh Studio with the exception of the heart component I left that alone as I wanted to see the mixed media through the space. I really love how this looked. I popped the file up on foam as well to give dimension across the page.
Before I stuck it down I created a water colour effect around the edges with ink spays and shimmery gold splatters! My favourite kind of splatter!
I filled the page with gorgeous embellishments, you just cant go past florals, wood veneer and hand made hearts from Charms Creations.
I finished with a final flourish of more gold splatters to match up with the background. I really loved how this one turned out. I will always remember my 50th!
