May Your Everyday Sparkle | Jamie Striplin

Hello CUT to YOU friends!

I find cut file titles to be so inspiring! I was in a little bit of a scrapbooking rut, and wasn’t sure what photos I wanted to scrap, so I went browsing in the shop and found this gorgeous May Your Everyday Sparkle cut file and thought it would be perfect to scrapbook these sweet and silly photos of my daughter. I”m a big fan of scrapbooking the everyday moments – the little things I hope to never forget!

I resized the cut file to the ideal size for my layout and cut it out of some pretty floral paper. Then I went to work backing it. For this cut file I found it was easiest for me to flip it over and trace the backside of my paper and then glue down each individual letter and star. I chose to back the stars and the word “sparkle” all in silver glitter paper and the rest of the words in a lightly patterned pink paper. To add some extra dimension I took a few of the negative star cut outs, distressed the edges and sewed them on top of the star right down the middle.

My favorite thing about these large title cut files is that they make the page come together so quick and easily! I layered some patterned papers, put my photos on, and then finished up with a few pieces of ephemera, some enamel dots, and a little black splatter, some journaling and it was done!

Thanks so much for looking and I hope you feel inspired to use one of the great title cut files in the shop for your next layout!

XO, Jamie
