Make Waves Layout | Make Waves Cutfile | NenaScrap

Hi CUT to YOU friends,

It’s NenaScrap with you today, thanks for joining me to discover a new layout I made with the gorgeous Make Waves Cutfile.

I started my layout by creating a mixed media background with the 1st row of waves.
I isolated these waves in my Cameo Silhouette software and copied them several times and then cut them out of white cardstock. I got a stencil on one side with the wave silhouette and the white cardstock wave cutouts on the other side.

With a blending tool and the Distress Oxides Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch, I used my stencil as a background.
On the wave patterns, I added the wave cutouts in white cardstock. This gives a relief that almost looks like sea foam.

I splashed Gesso and ink on the background then added the rest of my elements.

I matted the word “Make” with patterned paper and added Distress Oxide Blueprint Sketch on “waves” to make it stand out.

I used the Summer Stories collection by Mintopia.

I hope you enjoyed this page. Join me on YouTube to discover the video process.
