A Year To Remember | A Year To Remember Cut File | NenaScrap

Hi CUT TO YOU friends,

It’s NenaScrap with you today and I’m so happy to see you on the Cut To You blog again !

Today I want to show you this layout I made with the cut file A Year To Remember. I love the title cut files imagined by Gwen, they always give me the inspiration to start a new page.

This cut file was perfect to illustrate the highlights of the year 2021.

I cut my cut file from white cardstock and backed it with a printed paper from The Best Day collection by Pink Fresh Studio. This paper has lots of different colored labels. It was perfect for backing this beautiful A Year To Remember cut file.

To showcase my title, I made a background with Distress Worn Lipstick ink and Andrea’s Azalea Magicals powder. I used a blending tool with my Distress then splashed my background with my powder diluted with water.

I glued my cut file with 3D adhesive foam to give volume to my layout.

I made a photo montage with 4 of our best family moments of the year and matted my photo with several pieces of paper.

I added “2021” to my photo with an alphabet sticker and finished it off by adding die-cuts and stickers from The Best Day collection by Pink Fresh Studio.

I really loved making this layout with this beautiful A Year To Remember cut file. Do you like title cut files? There are plenty in the store here.

I hope this layout will inspire you.

Have fun with your cut files and see you soon.

Hugs & kisses from France.

December | Christmas Wearth Cut File | NenaScrap

Hi Cut To You friends,

It’s NenaScrap with you today.

I hope you had a merry Christmas.
To end this month of December with you, I propose a layout with the beautiful cut file Christmas Wearth.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the cut file and then backed it with two different printed papers, one for the leaves and one for the bow.

I chose this cut file because of the bow, I love bows, don’t you?
I used the Spanish collection Cuento De Invierno by Mintopia Studio.

I placed my cut file in the center of my page, I wanted it to be the focal point. Then I placed my photo on the left. It is matted with printed papers and tissue paper. I added cardboard to the back of each element to add volume.

To the left of my photo, I added my embellishments: die-cuts, a stamped label, an epoxy sticker. I used 3D adhesive foam to give volume. My title “December” is a stamp that I fussy cut and added on my photo. I stamped it in pink to recall the bow on the cut file.

I added die-cuts and star enamels all over my page. I finished it off with gold splatters.

I hope you enjoyed this layout and that it will inspire you to create with the Christmas Wreath cut file.
It is absolutely beautiful!!!

I can’t wait to see you in 2021. I hope you have a very happy holiday season with your family and friends.

Have a happy crafty day.

Hugs & kisses from France.

25 Days of Christmas | Fast, Fun and Festive Scrapbook Ideas | Day 14

Hi creative friends, it’s NenaScrap with you today and I’m so excited to join the 25 Days of Christmas celebrations. Have you seen the wonders already created by the design team members ? There are only great creations !!!

For my part, I chose to propose a layout with the beautiful Tree In A Jar cut file.

I used Crate Paper’s Snowflakes collection from last year. I love Christmas collections, but every year they sit in my stash because I don’t have enough pretty pictures to scrapbook. In the west of France where I live, December is a period where the night falls early and the weather is very often grey and rainy. Not ideal for nice pictures.

So, I’m going to tell you all about it, I now do real photo shoots of my kids with props and lighting to have beautiful pictures during this time of the year.

I cut the Tree in A Jar cut file out of white cardstock four times with my Silhouette Cameo. Because the design is so thin, I programmed my Cameo on two passes of the blade and the cut was perfect.

I matted my jars with printed papers from Crate Paper and glitter paper. It requires a bit of precision but with a glue pen, it can be done very well.

I placed my 4 jars at the bottom of my page to make like a border.

I glued two strips of torn printed paper to the top of my page and made a cluster with my photos and embellishments.

I chose to print the same photo twice, once in color and once in black and white and I used 3D adhesive foam to add volume to my embellishments.

I hope this layout will inspire you to participate with us in the 25 Days of Christmas with the wonderful CUT TO YOU cut files.

You can find the process video of this layout on my YouTube channel.

Autumn Vibes | Skeleton Leaf Duo Cut File | NenaScrap

Hi CUT TO YOU friends,

It’s NenaScrap with you today and I’m so happy to be sharing another project with you.

Have you ever thought of using your cut files as embellishments?
For this layout, I didn’t have any sheets that matched this Pink Fresh Studio collection in my embellishments. So I decided to use the Skeleton Leaf Duo cut file to create my own.

I cut the leaves twice from white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. Then I colored them with Magicals powders. These powders give an iridescent look in addition to their pretty colors.

I dropped a little powder on my Non Stick Craft Sheet with the tip of a knife. You need very little because they are very pigmented. I sprayed some water on the powder and gently applied my leaves to the color.

By alternating the powders, we obtain shades of colors that recall the colors of autumn leaves.

I matted my photo with several pieces of printed paper from The Best Day collection by Pink Fresh Studio.
I added volume with cardboard and 3D adhesive foam.
I positioned my fall leaves and completed with some embellishments.

I created a second embellishment area on my page still around the Skeleton Leaf Duo cut file.
I wanted to give a form of symmetry to my layout.

I finished by adding my title and splashes of Gesso.

I hope you enjoy this page and use your cut files as embellishments. There are so many ways to have fun with the wonderful Cut To You cut files created by Gwen.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a happy crafty day.

Hugs & kisses from France.

HELLO NYC | CIRCLE GARLAND CUT FILE | NENASCRAP

Hi CUT TO YOU friends,

It’s NenaScrap back with you today to share a new fall layout featuring the fabulous Circle Garland Cut File.

I cut the cut file twice with my Silhouette Cameo : once in white cardstock and a second time in printed paper, keeping only the outer edges. This way I was able to back my cut file very easily by superimposing the 2 cuttings. I love the it looks !!!

I used the pretty fall collections Bungalow Lane by Paige Evans and Peaceful Heart by Jen Hadfield.
I cut a circle in the center of the Bungalow Lane #12 printed paper. I used my cut file as a template for this.

I glued a white cardstock behind my printed paper which forms with the Circle Garland cut file like a frame on the white background. I glued my cut file with 3D foam squares to add volume.

The cut file being in 2 parts, I hid the gap between the 2 with my photo on the right and my embellishment cluster on the left. This gives the effect of a wreath of leaves.

I used Bungalow Lane die-cuts and epoxy stickers as embellishments. I love the beautiful fall colors in this collection, which goes perfectly with the Circle Garland cut file and the photo of my kids during our trip to NYC in 2014.

You can find the video process of this layout on my YouTube channel :

I hope you like this layout and that it inspires you.
Thank you for stopping by.

Have a happy crafty day.

Hugs & Kisses from France.

Boo Mini-Album | Halloween 1 Cut File | NenaScrap

Hi Cut To YOU friends,

It’s NenaScrap with you today.

I’m happy to find you with a Halloween mini-album.

Have you seen the selection of Halloween cut files on the website?
I couldn’t decide which one was my favorite, so I included several in my mini-album.

For the cover, I chose the Halloween 1 cut file and adapted its size to the mini-album in my Silhouette software. I cut it out of a black Bazzill with My Cameo Silhouette. I backed the 2 “O” with glitter paper to add some light.

I used the Hey Pumpkin collection from Crate Paper for this project. This collection is so cute !!!

I tried to use cut files in different ways throughout the album. For this 1st page, I created a cover with two squares of vellum in which I slipped sequins and glitter and then I glued the Jack’O Lantern cut file cut from a printed paper always the size of my album.

I also cut the Sweets cut file treats into several sizes and papers. I used them as a charm or as embellishments.

I created a page from the Halloween 2 cut file. I added a rectangle to the spider web and welded the two images together. In the Silhouette software, it’s very easy.

Here, the Something Spooky cut file, cut from black Bazzill, was perfect with this adorable printed paper.

With the Ghostly cutfile, I proceeded in the same way as with the spider web above and created a page. To make my ghosts more real than life, I backed the cut file with vellum.

I hope you will like this project and that it will make you want to use cut files in your mini-albums. It is so much fun !!!

Thanks for joining me today, I wish you a beautiful crafty day.

See you soon.

XOXO

Our Best Adventure | Our Best Adventure Yet Cutfile | NenaScrap

Hi Cut To You fans !

It ‘s NenaScrap with you today.

Have you seen the new October cutfiles?
I love this travel theme and it immediately reminded me of our trip to New York a few years ago. This remains the greatest memory of our children and my son, who was 8 years old at the time, loved this trip.

The Our Best Adventure Yet cutfile was perfect for documenting this memorable moment!!!

I cut my cutfile with my Cameo out of a dark blue printed paper from Echo Park Paper.

Then I traced the outline of the letters left on my cutting mat on pieces of printed paper from Cocoa Vanilla Legendary and Photoplay Best Kid Ever collections and cut them out adding a few millimeters to the line.
I used these letters to back the title of my cutfile.

I added my photos to the frames and glued it all to a white cardstock that was itself glued to a printed paper from Photoplay best Kid Ever collection.

I added some stickers and die-cuts and stamps representing New York.
The great thing about such pretty cutfiles is that you don’t have to add much 😊

I hand wrote my journaling and marked the date with a puffy sticker alphabet from Pink Fresh Studio.

I love when my layout comes together so easily and it’s all thanks to this “Best Adventure Yet” Cut To You cutfile.
Did you see that there is a “Travel” section on the site to find all the cutfiles on this theme ?

I hope you enjoyed this layout, thanks for joining me today.
I wish you a beautiful crafty day.
See you soon.

XOXO

CUT TO YOU | Sunny Days Layout | Sundae Cut File | NenaScrap

Hi Cut To You friends, it’s NenaScrap with you today with my new Design Team project to share with you.

We were lucky enough to be able to go on vacation to Spain this summer and we enjoyed the heat and of course the ice cream. And my last daughter loves ice cream!
So when I saw the Sundae cut file, I immediately thought of these pictures that matched perfectly.

To start, I cut the Sundae cut file from white cardstock and backed it with vellum to mimic the glass of the ice bowl. Then I added printed papers behind the vellum to represent the ice cream scoops. I used Simple Stories Sunkissed and Fancy Pants Vitamin Sea collections.

I used enamel dots instead of candy sprinkles. Don’t you think enamel dots look like candy 😊 ?

I chose 2 photos taken from 2 different angles. I matted them with printed papers and layered them.
I added 2 tags behind the pictures.

I chose this striped paper as a background. I like the contrast and the dynamism it brings to the page. And to add even more contrast, I added a pink cardstock under the striped paper.

I added my 3D foam sticker as the title and embellishments clustered around my title and photos. With this great Sunday cut file, there’s not much to add!

I hope you enjoyed this page as much as I enjoyed making it. Creating with these awesome cut files is so much fun!!!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun | NenaScrap

Hi CTY friends,

It’s NenaScrap with you today and I’m so excited to share with you my first post as a member of the Cut To You Design Team.

For this 1st post, I’m offering you a very girly layout with the Stars Squared cutfile.

This cutfile immediately made me think of a joyful explosion as if a box was opened and glitter, stars and confetti came out.

To start, I cut the Stars Squared cutfile in a light pink cardstock. I wanted the center square to be large enough to accommodate a 4 1/2 inch square photo.

Then I backed my Stars Squared cutfile with pieces of blue and yellow printed papers. I chose Buenos Dias collection by Obed Marshall because I wanted cheerful and festive colors to match the mood of my photo which I resized to fit perfectly in the center square .

I glued the whole thing onto an 11 inch square white cardstock glued itself onto a pink printed paper matching the cutfile cardstock. Then, I added stitching all around the white cardstock with my sewing machine.

To finish, I added my title with a 3D foam alphabet and my embellishments from Buenos Dias collection.

Also to remind the “explosion” side, I glued a lot of small elements (acrylics and dots) that seem to “jump” from the central composition.

I hope you liked this page, you can find it in video on my YouTube channel :
