Dream Big Little One – Kay Hall

Hi Kay, here with you today sharing a cute baby layout using this adorable cut file: Dream Big Little One

I still have baby photos I’d like to scrap even though my youngest son is now 9!

To fill in the cut file I used various papers in shades of pale blue and mint. I had some stickers from an old Crate Paper collection which I added and then some little star stickers.

The final touch I added was some acrylic stars which are Perspextives by Bramble Fox in the U.K. They really stand out from the page and give it extra dimension.

The final touch was a really cute little felt cloud!

There are some fabulous new designs to check out in the shop for February so head on over for a browse.

Happy Scrapping

Cool Kid – Kay Hall

Hi there!

Kay here with you today sharing a boy themed layout using a new cutfile from the January release. I have used the new CUT to YOU Circle Eights Cut File and papers from the Boys Rule collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studios. This combo was perfect for as I am a mum of 3 boys!

I wanted the cutfile to really stand out against the lovely bright papers so I used black cardstock. I had some small scraps of paper to use up and armed with a circle punch I filled in all the circles.

Using 3D foam I mounted the design onto the background sheet after adding a few splatters here and there. I then added my photo followed by embellishments from the collection’s ephemera packs.

I added some punched stars and some small white enamel dots to complete my design.
If you are like me and are always on the hunt for boy designs, make sure you jump into the Boyz Zone on the CUT to YOU website.

I will be back next month with more layouts!

Happy Scrapping!

Back to School – Kay Hall

Kay here with you today sharing my very first blog post as a member of the new Cut to You design team.

For my design I decided to use the fabulous new Back to School cutfile from the January release.

I cut the design out using black cardstock as I really wanted it to stand out, then I used various scraps of bright cardstock to back the cutfile.

For the background I used inks, mists and stamping. First I used the packaging technique then added some splatters in blue and green and stamped images using various stamps from my stash.

After mounting my photo to make it stand out I added a large strip of paper across the bottom of the page and then the ruler strip. Using 3D foam for dimension I mounted my cutfile and then added a few little stickers and die cuts for extra detail. To finish I mounted the whole layout onto black cardstock to frame the design.

I look forward to sharing lots more designs with you in 2020 and wish you all a very happy new year!

Happy Scrapping!
