New Years Fun | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone!

Rachel back with you today with a fun celebration page to share.

I have used the Confetti Background cut file for the main focus of my page today. I cut it from white cardstock, then backed it with lots of different bright colours to create a real ‘party’ feel to the page.

I left some of the circles open, and backed the white cardstock with some black cardstock. I added some cardboard under the white cardstock to add some dimension to the black circles.

I added some blue watercolour around my page to break up the starkness of the white, and add another subtle colour to my page.

I haven’t added too many other embellishments to my busy page.

However I did add a Constellation Cluster cut file under my photo.

I cut it from white cardstock then painted the cut file gold to match my gold Thickers for my title and the gold tones in the background of my photo.

Have you created something using CUT TO YOU cut files?

We’d love to see them all in the CUT TO YOU HQ Facebook group.

Autumn In The Garden | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone! Rachel back with you today

sharing my layout inspired by this month’s

challenge at Scrap The Girls.

I have used the Floral Frame 01 cut file for my layout today.

I cut the file with my Silhouette from white cardstock.

I then painted the flowers, leaves and the frame.

I kept the large flowers white, then backed them with orange papers.

I added some papers under my photo, and some raw

chipboard leaves and flowers to add layers to my ‘garden’.

Make sure you check out the challenge at Scrap The Girls.

Today is the last day to get your entries in, to have a chance to

win some gorgeous CUT TO YOU cut files.

A Little Dirt Never Hurt | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone! Its Rachel back again with a messy, grungy, boy

layout to share with you today.

I’ve used the words from the new Dump Truck Page Builder

cut file as the title for my page today.

I cut the title twice with my Cameo, first from Kraft cardstock then again from white cardstock to layer together with an offset to create a shadow. I ‘grunged’ up the white layer a bit and added some brown ink around the edges to further add to the ‘messy’ theme of the page.

I created my background with some sprays, stamping and some stenciling,

then added some brown Distress ink through a splatter stencil.

I also added some Cocoa Vanilla Studio stickers and

chipboard pieces as well as a star embellishment.

Pop on over to the shop to check out the other new releases this month.

My Happiness | Rachel Dutko

Hi Everyone! Rachel here with another layout to share with you today. This layout was inspired by one of Gwen’s recent monochromatic layouts.

I’ve used 3 different cut files on this layout –

I’ve used the My Happiness cut file as my title.

I cut the cut file from white cardstock, then coloured it with Distress Stain.

I then backed the file with different pattern papers in my chosen colour palette to match the Cocoa Vanilla Studio papers

I’ve used to create a border around my page.

I added some blue and green water colour splodges for my background,
and then layered on the Lattice Grid background cut file, cut from white cardstock and trimmed to create an asymmetrical shape.

I’ve also added the Caite Floral Set ( also cut in white and resized smaller) as embellishments on my page. If you are an email subscriber you would have received this cut file for free. If you are not an email subscriber – what are you waiting for? Head on over and sign up now!

I added some smaller embellishments and some quotes, as well as some doodling and hand-written journalling.

And of course I finished my layout off with some black splatters!

I have to admit this page was a bit different to my normal style,

but I love the softness of the finished page!

Hello Squirrel | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone!

Rachel back with you today with another page to share for

I absolutely fell in love with this cute little squirrel cut file.

So I decided he needed a page all to himself!

I have cut the Squirrel cut file with my Silhouette.

I sized the cut so he would fill most of my 12×12 page.

I then used papers from an Autum-themed collection to back the cut file

and give it a cohesive feel.

I’ve been hoarding this collection for quite a while, but I thought it would be perfect to use the papers with the acorns for the Squirrel!

I then backed the cut file with some cardboard to raise it up off the page.

I also added some embellishments from the same

collection to finish off my page.

He looks so great all framed up ready to hang up on the wall!

Make sure to check out the shop, Etsy, Instagram and Pinterest!

We love to see what you have been creating with CUT TO YOU cut files.

‘Currently’ TN spread | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone!

Rachel with you today for my first share on the CUT TO YOU blog!

I have a page in my new TN to share with you today.

I have decided to keep my memory keeping of 2019

quick and easy in a TN format so I don’t end

up getting too far behind!

I have created a simple cover for my TN, using the

TN 2019 Best Yet cut file and some washi.

I love the stars on the cover of the notebook

so I didn’t want to cover them up too much.

I love how the ‘2019’ cut from white card stock

really jumps off the page.

Now let’s take a look at my ‘Currently’ spread –

I have used the TN Currently cut file on the left hand side.

I cut it twice from two different shades of pink card stock

to create a drop shadow.

I then backed it with some lilac paper and outlined with blue pen.

I cut the Sketchy Squares cut file from black cardstock

then cut it into smaller pieces as embellishments on both sides.

I continued the same patterned papers on the

right hand side under my photo.

I finished off the spread with some stickers,

journalling, doodles and some splatters.

Head over to the shop to check out what’s new.

There are some gorgeous cuts in the latest release!
