Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing your lovely layout featuring the “Rose Garden Camera” cutfile. I knew that I had to use it with the Maggie Holmes Garden Party collection. It is the perfect combination of a bold, graphic camera and light and airy floral bits.
You can see here how lovely the cutfile looks when layered between the mixed media. I made sure to tuck floral ephemera here and there to further accentuate all of the florals.
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this fun layout featuring the ever so cool “Make Your Move” cutfile. I decided to use this cutfile for a putt putt adventure so I chose to save the chess pieces for another day.
You can see here that I added some heavy stitching around my background as well as used a contrasting patterned paper from the Simple Stories “Safe Travels” collection. I love how the pieces nestled right into the cutfile. There are so many fab new cutfiles in the Cut To You shop!
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this summery layout featuring the fab “Good Time Summer Fine” layout and the Simple Stories “Pool Party” collection. I have four small photos on this project where you see my sun playing around with a ball lakeside.
I just had to make that big sun into a shaker pocket! I then used four different patterned papers for the large title. Don’t you just love how a cutfile can help you create a layout ever so quickly?!
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this fun and colorful layout featuring the gorgeous “Chasing Rainbows” cutfile. I love that it comes in two different pieces to tailor it to your specific project. I used the whole shebang and then brought in lots of Shimmerz Paints, SpiegelMom Scraps sequins as well as the Simple Stories “Sunkissed” collection.
Here is the gorgeous cutfile in question:
I used a whole bunch of Shimmerz Paints to alter my project. I used a single gorgeous blue tone for my clouds and then came in with a couple of sequin mixes to create a shaker pocket for the rainbow area.
Here’s another closeup where you can see that I created a rainbow of color across the Chasing Rainbows words:
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this ever so sad puppy layout featuring the beautiful Sunburst Heart cutfile. I thought that the Pinkfresh “Keeping It Real” collection was the perfect vibe for this tricky day for Blue.
I just had to do some hand sewing on this cutfile! I used a pale pink for the center of the heart and a nice aqua to back stitch around the entire cutfile. I love how it came together. I thought that the layout needed a bit more punch so I backed the bright yellow patterned paper with a gorgeous floral.
I layered embellishments by the same collection, grabbed some very old alphas and included some flair to bring it all together. I do love this one!
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this fun and bright layout that is also a scraplift of a gorgeous layout by our fearless leader, Gwen. I went after her signature style of a white background, bright pops of color and stitching around the border. I love that this Daisy Bough cutfile has a curve to nestle your photo right into.
You can see that I chose not to fully tack down the cutfile as I do so love the bit of dimension that you get from the shadow. I chose to use a black and white photo so that the Simple Stories “Sunkissed” collection would pop right off the page.
And here is the gorgeous layout that Gwen created:
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this fun and fresh layout featuring the Hexagon Frame Cut File layered over the Valentine Rose Cut Files. And look at these adorable photos of my daughter getting some fresh highlights!
I backed my Valentine Rose Cut Files with this gorgeous Summer collection by Carta Bella. The tones are just perfect and allow my photos to shine! I decided to add black and white twine around my clusters to add just a little bit more black here and there.
I am currently loving little shiny bits of flair, some splatty bits and tiny words to build out some clusters around and under my cutfiles.
Hello friends! How awesome that we are celebrating the fab Gwen today with a YouTube hop and I get the honor of scraplifting her! Andddddd…..my assignment was summer so I just had to use this gorgeous “Summer Vibes” cutfile! I just had to use the gorgeous Simple Stories “Sunkissed” Collection to showcase this photo of my pup who wasn’t entirely sure about his new pool.
Look at how clean this cutfile cut! It was ever so easy to back and the patterned papers pop so well!
I finished off this sunny layout with some acrylic flair from Scrappin’ Happy Studio, some of the Simple Stories foam pieces and diecuts.
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you a layout featuring a sassy swan friend. This fellow seemed a bit perturbed that I would dare encroach upon his space. I did grab a quick photo and let him go on his way. I used the Ribbon and Roses cutfile and cut it out in a mid-weight white textured cardstock. It cut beautifully!
I decided to use all Paige Evans goodies for this project from the new “Wonder” collection. The deep orange background allows the cutfile to really pop as well as highlighting Mr. Swan’s beak. I loved backing this cutfile with a bunch of different patterned papers and centering the whole design.
I do so enjoy how the photo nestles right into the top of the ribbon! We have so many beautiful floral files in the shop, make sure you pop over and check them out!
Hello friends! It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this silly layout featuring my girl getting her hair all fancy! I doubled up on cutfiles this time using both the Hexagon Frame cutfile as well as the Valentine Rose cutfile. I think that they look fantastic together!
I wanted to use a gorgeous collection and Summer collection by Carta Bella doesn’t disappoint. Look at how fantastic these tones are with the Valentine Rose cutfile!
The Valentine Rose cutfile is popped up on dimensional adhesive and lots of the gorgeous floral bits from Carta Bella are tucked beneath the photo cluster as well as on the upper right. I used some gorgeous flair from Scrappin’ Happy Studio with a lemon vibe and wrapped a bit of black and white twine around them for contrast. And finally, I used some Shimmerz products for splatty bits. I’m smitten with this layout!
