Hello there, Bernii here with you today!!
I am here to share my with you all my latest layout that I have created again inspired by the new beginnings that Spring seems to symbolise. Now the photo that I scrapped isn’t a photo that was taken in the Spring months, however it is a photo of my daughter turning double digits and it made me think of the new beginnings she will face. To symbolise this a little more I chose a butterfly cut file to represent her change into the next stage of her life. So let me show you what I have created.
Now this particular background cut file is the Butterfly Cluster Cut n Stitch , although I only used the butterflies cut file and also decided to cut two of the clusters so that I could have them cover most of the background from left to right.
I love how the butterflies just seem to sit on the page delicately when backed with patterned paper and vellum. I didn’t want to embellish the layout too much as I wanted the butterflies to stand out , and to help the butterflies seem like the wings are fluttering I only added glue to the body .
I then added the ” Life Captured” title and only a smattering of embellishments from the latest CVS collection . Lastly, I just jotted down some thoughts on the moment that I captured.
Well thank you for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to try ad carve out some scrapbooking time this Sunday with some CUT to YOU files.
For all of the newest releases make sure you head over here in the store and remember, Gwen also does custom cuts which means if you don’t have your own cutting machine Gwen will cut them and send to you anywhere in the world!! Awesome service!

Much love Bernii xx
Bernii here with you today to share with you a new Travellers Notebook spread in my beloved TN that I picked up from IKEA. I love using this size and and format to memory keep in as the pages come together faster for me and more memories get recorded. So let me show my latest spread in my TN using the TN Speech Bubble cut file.
I love this cut file and originally had the idea that I would use each speech bubble with some journaling of random tidbits from the day. Instead I decided to use it as a layering piece on the left hand side of the spread and teamed it with the new Pink Fresh collection ” Just a little lovely”.
I love the extra layering piece that it gives to the spread and I still managed to get some journaling completed in a few of the bubbles. I decided to decorate over the the two pages and help balance out with the acetate gold foiled ephemera .
Is this not one of the sweetest TN cut files you have seen? I decided not to back the cut file as I normally would as it was just a beautiful and subtle touch.
If you would like to see more TN cut files follow THIS link to take you directly to the store where Gwen has created loads of different cut files to suit any theme or occasion.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hi there , Bernii here with you today.
Today I have a new layout share for you for the CUT to YOU design team using the gorgeous ” Lotus Bud Floral cut file” . I challenged myself to use a patterned paper background, and I have to say I love the way it turned out with the soft Lotus Bud floral cut file that just compliments the paper perfectly.
Let me show you what I have created .
I used the latest Kitaholics Kit which featured Pink Paislee papers with these gorgeous soft water colour effects. To add to the softness of the layout I decided to back the Lotus Bud floral cut file with the soft pink paper.
Overall, the Lotus Bud cut file did most of the embellishing on the page for me and I love how it turned out. Then the “Beautiful” title was the perfect sentiment to finish the layout.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have found some inspiration today here with the Lotus Bud Floral cut file. Don’t forget you can find many more beautiful designs over on the CUT to YOU website which you can check out HERE.

Hello Cut To You family, Bernii here with you today to share a layout using the gorgeous All Around Floral Background cut file which you can spot in the store HERE. I have even manged to create a process video which you can check out HERE over on my channel.
I just love anything floral and this cut file seemed the perfect fit for this layout featuring my daughter and her friend at an art class together. It reminded me of the flowers that the girls painted in their pictures . I cut two of these cut files out to create the layout as I wanted it to spread out towards the two corners of the layout.
I used an older collection from Illustrated Faith as it added the right pops of colour that I needed to help make these pictures pop.
I love how this layout turned out and if you wanted to check out my process video don’t forget you can check it out HERE.
