Lucky In Love | Ali Skifton

Hello my crafty friends! Love is in the air and I am Lucky in Love! I am so excited to be sharing with you today a new cut file and a collaboration with SpiegelMom Scraps. The design team was lucky to get a couple sheets of her foil to play with this month. I knew right away that I wanted to play with the gold foil and tie it together with the work Luck and of course Love, since we are celebrating Valentine’s Day this Month!

The foil went on the white cardstock so smoothly and it cut like butter on my Silhouette Cameo 4 machine. You just need to adjust your settings to print on Cover Stock and the rest adjusts itself. I was nervous at first to try it, but after my first time of cutting the Lucky In Love cut file, I just wanted to cut more files using her foils.

I added some patterned hearts and tassels on top of the title cut file and love how they pop with the stripe paper and gold foil. The pictures are of my husband and me sharing a milkshake at a local dinner in Milwaukee. We are so lucky in love and had fun celebrating our 13th Valentine’s Day together. I hope we have many more to come our way.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my layout. May you be lucky in love too!

Love, Ali xoxo

Merry Christmas | Piroska Czako-Radvanyi

Hello Everyone, it’s Piroska here today with my latest layout for CUT to YOU. Have you seen the many more and more beautiful Christmas cut files in the CUT to YOU shop? Whether you are documenting a previous memory or preparing for your December Daily album, these cut files will be perfect for you! 😉

As December is coming closer, I like to scrap Christmas photos. This one is from last year, was taken on Christmas Eve, which we usually spend just the three of us. In Hungary we decorate the tree on this day, and the presents are under the tree. It is not Santa who brings gifts on Christmas Eve (because he brings some sweets to the good children on the 6th December), but the Little Jesus or the angels, as the faith of the family it requires.

For my layout I chose the Poinsettia Wreath cut file, it is sooo beautiful, I had to use it ASAP! 😀

As I wanted to use traditional colours, I used the Together for Christmas collection from Pink Paislee from last year. I backed the cut file with red and green patterned papers.

I arranged the cut files as it is, and started to decorate the wreath with some fussy cut flowers and leaves.

I matted the photo with some patterned papers, made a tag, and put the photo on the upper side of the wreath.

I added the title in the middle to separate the two parts. This way I created some white space under the title. I finally added a chipboard from ScrapUp! ScrapBook from my stash.

I hope I could inspire you to make a layout with this cut file. Get over to the shop, and find some new cut files 😉

Floral Love You | Piroska Czako-Radvanyi

Hello Everyone, it’s Piroska here today with my latest layout for CUT to YOU. I hope you are all doing well, and have some time to spend with your hobby too. As I spend my last days of the summer holiday, I enjoy making layouts with flowers on them. But who do I want to deceive? I just love flowers, so I always find reasons to add them to my works. ;-P

This time I have chosen the Floral Love You cut file and the new Celebration collection of Pinkfresh Studio & Altenew.

First I cut my title, the Floral Love You cut file from smooth white cardstock and fussy cut the flowers of the This Story paper. I wanted to make a wreath with them, so I cut some leaves from the Leaf Duo cut file also, and made the base of the wreath with 8 leaves.

I backed the title using the other side of the This Story paper.

I needed more flowers so I fussy cut some from the Progress paper as well.

As I needed some bigger ones too, I stamped two flowers with the Celebrate Us stamp, once on white background, once on the pink part of the This Story paper. I used my Altenew stamps to colour them using the stamp set.

I added foam adhesive on the back of the Floral Love You cut file and added it to the wreath. I really love using a wreath design, it makes a layout come together very fast. My title is now part of the wreath, just as my photo is.

I backed my photo and added it so, that it reaches the wreath. This time I used phrase stamps of Ali Edwards for my journaling. I hope I could inspire you to give these cut files a try! Go to the CUT to YOU shop and get some of the amazing new cut files!
