Hello CUT to YOU friends! Jamie here to share my newest layout! For this project I used the Concentric Hearts Background cut file and cut it out of a rainbow ombre paper. When I laid it over the white card stock, it lacked the punch I was looking for so I took all of the heart centers and distressed them and then popped them back in the middle. I tacked the cut file down slightly and then I stitched through each row with my sewing machine. This gave me the ability to fold them up a little and add a lot of dimension to my page.
After I finished the background, I was struggling a little bit to figure out what photos, paper and embellishments I wanted to use. I settled on these photos of my husband and I from a recent Vegas trip and then I went through my scrap pile and just started pulling things to layer with. I did the same with my embellishments and ended up using a bunch of older product. I don’t know about you, but it always feels so good to use up some of my stash!
After I got all my layers down, I added some hidden journaling on a tag, added a little ink splatter in the corners and finished it off with some silver sequins. You can’t go wrong adding sequins to a Vegas layout!

It’s Tarrah back with you today to share a pretty scrapbook layout featuring the gorgeous Diamond Heart cut file
I started by choosing a dark pink patterned paper for the cut file to be cut out from. I knew I was going to place this on a plain white cardstock background so the dark pink was perfect for the contrast. I did trim down the white cardstock and matted the entire page onto a colourful background paper. I do like how this helps the cut file and the elements on the page to pop!
I adhered my photo and most of the embellishments that frame the photo on the right of the page, I did keep the embellishments small on this layout so that it did not take away from the pretty cut file too much. I added my title to the bottom of the heart, I chose a teal coloured title as I love pink and teal together so much! I also added a few of the pretty hearts around my page too.
At the top of the cut file, you can see I have added a bow, I just love bows and so whenever I get the opportunity to add one, I do! I think it goes so well in the middle of the top of the heart. I also added some chipboard and puffy sticker floral pieces around the perimeter of the diamond heart cut file. Lastly I stamped the date stamp on a small tag and my layout was complete.
Thank you so much for stopping by the CUT to YOU blog today. Sadly this is my final layout as part of the awesome CUT to YOU design team for a little while. I would love to thank Gwen and all you amazing readers and crafters for all of your amazing support!
Hello Everyone, it’s Piroska here today with my latest layout for CUT to YOU. As Spring is coming on the Northern Hemisphere, I feel the desire to use more colours on my scrapbook layouts, so I combined the Heart You More Background Cut File with rainbow colours. I chose a photo of my daughter and me from last year, when she asked for a selfie on the couch – we’ve spent so much time at home last year, that couch selfies are definetely a thing! 😛
First I cut the Heart You More Background Cut File from white cardstock and chose the Good Vibes patterned paper from the Happiness collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for backing it. I followed the colours of the patterned paper.
When I was ready, I glued it onto a white cardstock, and cut 1-1 cm from both sides. I cut two stripes from the Good Vibes paper and glued them on the left and right side to make it 12″ again. I also added machine stitching to them.
I placed my photo in the bottom right corner and added some stickers and a die cut to it. I also made a little cluster in the left corner above to balance the layout.
I think this colourful layout with these many hearts doesn’t need any more decorations, sometimes a cut file is just enough 😉
I pulled colors from the photo and then created 1/2″ strips of patterned paper that I fringed and laid on the center cirle starting from the bottomworking my way up. I used y measuring mat as my guide.
One they were all adhered, I then trimmed around the circle leaving a very small border as to not overlap the edges.
It was hard to cover up all the fun fringes, but I felt that it was just too plain without adding some fussy cut flowers and other embellishments.

I wanted to add some depth to the flowers, so I cut this area twice. I added the patterned paper underneath the first layer, and then added the extra floral section with a tiny bit of glue to a few areas to hold it in place.
To frame the page, I just added some floss. A couple of stitched areas, die cuts along with some quick doodling adds whimsy to the layout.
Word stickers along the top of the heart also keep this layout light and fun.
I just adore this darling girl and this cut file is such a delightful way to document her.
