Hi CUT to YOU fans! I have a layout to share today using the ‘Crazy Love Circle’ cut file which I have had cut for a while and totally forgotten to use! I really like how it turned out combined with the Pinkfresh Studio ‘Noteworthy’ collection. Definitely a popular choice this month as the lovely Belinda Jane has also used the same cut file, pop over to her post here to see how fab it looks with a different colour scheme!
I cut the ‘Crazy Love Circle’ cut file pretty large from white cardstock using my Silhouette as I wanted to make it the main feature of my layout and my photo needed to fit within the circle. I decided to back each of the cut file letters with a different colour from the ‘Noteworthy’ collection, and used foam pads to attach them behind the cut file to create some depth.
I then attached my white cardstock to a multi coloured frame using one of the cut apart papers.
I added my portrait photo to the centre of the circle cut file, raising the top edge with foam pads.
Then I created a diagonal design of embellishment clusters from top right to bottom left using lots of the coordinating ephemera, stickers, wooden buttons, puffy stickers and enamel dots.
I obviously didn’t need a title as the cut file words were perfect for my photo and journaling!

Hello beautiful friends! I am so happy to be back with you today to share a new Design Team project with you. I have another wedding layout and for this one, I wanted to use a cut file to help add some subtle layering details to my page. I thought that the Leaf Duo Cut File really fit the bill, and I loved that I was able to really stretch them to tuck them into various spots around the page by trimming them down.
If you want to see how I created this layout, I’d love for you to go ahead and check out my YouTube video below:
Here are a few more close up photos of the finished layout.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi CUT to YOU fans! Kirei back with a layout using an older cut file and one that I have had cut for a while and totally forgotten to use! It’s called ‘Floral Banner 3 ‘ and is available here in the shop. You will see that I flipped the design when I cut it on my Silhouette and then also turned it to use on my layout so that the banner was vertical. I matched it up with the lovely Pinkfresh Studio ‘Keeping it Real’ collection and a fun photo from my Mum’s 80th birthday last year.
I decided to back the floral part of the cut file with patterned papers, and these were stuck directly to the back of the cut file. I then added the pretty floral paper to the banner part using foam pads to add some dimension.
I mounted my photo with a coordinating patterned paper which I also used as a strip down the right side of the layout as it felt like it needed something to just draw the eye across. The photo is of my mum and dad, sister and myself and my husband…. however they were all in Australia and we couldn’t go because of the pandemic so my sis organised some cardboard cut outs of us to be there on her birthday weekend! I think they had lots of fun using ‘us’ in various photos!
Then I tucked some of the matching floral ephemera around the cut file and above the photo.
I added matching enamel dots and some sparkly Jewels also by Pinkfresh Studio.
To finish off I used the coordinating alpha for my title and added my journaling. This was a pretty simple layout and came together quite quickly, I love how it turned out!
