CUT to YOU | Oh So Happy You’re Home | Melinda Sweetman

Hello everyone and welcome to the blog today! Melinda here with you and I’m excited to share my most recent CUT to YOU creation!

I’ve used the sweet “Oh so happy” title cutfile which I have added to create this layout.

I decided to go with the gorgeous Traci Reed Designs “My Person” printable collection for this one as it was new in my craft room and it had the perfect “my best friend has paws” sentiment to go with this page!

I’ve used some different pattern papers from this collection to simply back my cut file today which I then popped up for some dimension.

I love the way my title kind of hugs my photos! To really emphasise both the title and photos on this layout I have added some gold paint strokes along with splatters both behind and around both elements.

A couple of small embellishment clusters and my journalling and my page is done!

I have a process video for you again today showing my process (well, most of it, tech difficulties!!) if you’d like to see this page come together. You can pop over to my YT channel or just hit that play button below!

As I’m writing this blog post my mind is wandering to the beautiful new March designs wondering what I’ll create with next!! Have you checked out the new releases yet???

TBH with you though, I am REALLY heavily leaning towards this beautiful Floral Rainbow cutfile from one of the newer KIT to YOU kits. Have you checked those out yet??? Such A-MAZING value!!!

That’s it for me for today, I really feel the need to get cutting 😉 Stay tuned to see what I use next!
Until then, I hope I have inspired you in some way today to get creative and I hope you have a happy scrappy day!

Totally Pawsome | Kelly Pyron

Hello Friends! I am happy to share my new layout using the Totally Pawsome Digital Cut File. I recently got a puppy, so this cut file was perfect for my new favorite scrappy subject! ❤

My new puppy, Beau Doodle (also known as Baby Dog) has a BIG personality. He is very playful, feisty, and energetic! I wanted my layout to reflect his personality, so I chose bright and bold colors. I used Shimelle’s “Never Grow Up” collection to create this layout.

The digital cut file was cut on white, textured cardstock and backed with some journaling cards. I used some really bright and bold patterns in the background, so I needed something in the same color palette, but toned down. I think the grid and lines from the journaling cards add interest to the title without being overly busy.

I layered lots of floral die-cuts on the top left and bottom right for some pops of fun color and shapes.. I also added the cute “wooden” sign, journaling tag, enamel dots, and sequins, to finish up my layout. I am so happy with how this turned out! If you have a canine fur-baby, you will love this cut file! It is totally pawsome! 🙂
