Hey & hello scrappy friends!! Melinda here with you sharing my latest creation. Like a few of the other girls on the team I have no theme park photos to share in the “Magical” arena however I do, of course, have dress up photos of my boys that definitely fit the “magical” bill.
And this gorgeous “Magical Moments” title cut file fits both my photos and the theme perfectly!!
Using 2 photos paired with this cut file made designing this page super easy as there’s not either enough room or desire to add a tonne more!
I’m using another digital collection today and this one is called “The Boy Who Lived.” Seriously, what could be more perfect to pull all of this together??
I’ve used one of the digital pattern papers to back the words in the title and then a gold glitter cardstock to back all of the stars.
My background is a combination of digital elements printed and also some real pastes and inks.
I added in a few extra digital pieces that I’d printed, a Charms Creation book paper star & a Dotty About Flair button and called my page done!
I do have a process video if you’d like to see this one come together. Hit that okay button below or click here to go straight to my YT channel!
I hope that you are enjoying our Magical month of May & being totally inspired to create your very own magical inspired pages.
Check out this section in the shop for lots of cut files to create your own magic!! Til next time, happy scrapping! Mel xx
Hello beautiful friends! I am back today with another Design Team Project to share with you. For this layout I used the Quilted Heart Cut File but customised it a little bit to bring in some of my favourite elements – stitching and layers!
To create this ‘cut-out’ effect, I manipulated the Quilted Heart Cut File in my software to have the outside cut line as stitching holes instead of a straight cut. That allowed me to hand stitch a pretty border while cutting the inside pieces from the white background, giving me a windowpane effect. If you’re interested to see how I turn a regular cut file into a stitching file you can check out my YouTube video below:

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by the blog today. I hope you have a great day!
Hey and hello scrappy friends and fellow cut file lovers!! Melinda here with you today with my next share as part of this A-MAZING scrappy team!!
Eeep, I just love it!! That cut file is just beautiful and available here in the store!!
As soon as I saw this cut file when Gwen shared it I knew I had the perfect photo to scrap with it from Mother’s Day this year!! I had discovered a new love for tea – or perhaps a re-ignited love – earlier in the year and hubby and my boys picked me this gorgeous little teapot with cup as a special gift and I just LOVE it!!
I’ve dug into my stash for this and pulled out the Paige Evans “Truly Grateful” collection as I loved some of the sentiments and, to be perfectly honest, this was the first collection that worked really well with the colours in my photo!
I will let you know however that this cut file took me more time than I thought it would to back but oh boy, so worth it! I just love the way it came together and that I was able to keep it fairly soft and pretty but at the same time bring in some pops of those bolder and more bright colours!!
Other than my photo and this cut file I had NO IDEA what I was going to do with this page but as you can see, lots of words!! In lots of different text’s, colours and textures that somehow just all work beautifully together and with my cut file and photo!
I do have a process video for you and I’d love for you to check it out! You can either head over to YT or just hit the play button below!
I haven’t yet had the chance to cut any of the GORGEOUS new designs that Gwen released this month but oh boy!!! I am fairly certain that I shall be cutting the super fun “Popcorn Party” and “Popcorn” cut files VERY soon however, as I am getting braces in a couple of weeks and popcorn, I believe, is a big no-no!!!
That’s it for me for today and I’ll be back again later in the month with my next share! Until then, happy scrapping! Mel xx
Hello beautiful friends! I am so happy to be back with you today with another Design Team project to share. For this layout I wanted something soft and sweet and the Rose Garden Frame Cut File was absolutely perfect to document this floral heavy photo.
I just love the subtle detail that the Rose Garden Frame Cut File adds to this very soft, pretty and oh-so-pink layout. If you know me, you know that this layout captures all of my favourite things! You can see how it all came together in more detail in my process video below.

Hello beautiful friends! I am back with another Design Team project to share with you today.
For this share, I was challenged to create something with the theme ‘Everyday’. I knew I had this recent snap of my son and I snuggling in bed one morning and chose the Crazy Love Circle Cut File to document this sweet little story.
I really love the fresh and bright feel of this layout. If you want a closer look at how I created it, please check out my process video below.
