Thankful for You | Raechelle Bellus

Hello scrappy friends! Today I’m sharing a layout featuring the wonderful Thanksgiving Harvest cut file.

This is such a pretty cut file!

To add a little bit of dimension, I cut the floral portion twice and then layered the second peice on top of the first.

In addition, I cut three more of the smaller flowers to use as a focal point along the top of the layout.

A flair button, some puffy hearts, and a few enamel dots complete this layout.

You can find this as well as all the other fabulous cut files by visiting the Cut to You store!

Hello Friends! I am back with an Autumn themed layout featuring the Fall (Autumn) Background Cut-File from the shop.

I am scrapping a photo of me and my best friend (husband) taken last Thanksgiving. I have been wanting to scrap this picture for awhile, but could never find the right “stuff” to go with it. I was looking through my 12X12 paper pads and came across a fall themed paper pad. That pad in combination with this cut file, sparked inspiration for scrapping this particular photo.

I realized when going through my stash, that I don’t have a lot of autum-themed scrappy embellishments, so I decided fussy cutting lots of the cute woodland animals, florals and other icons in the paper pad would have to suffice. Fussy cutting pattern paper is always a great option and money saver! Plus, I find it very relaxing! 🙂

I used the fall leaf backgroud cut file as the basis for my woodland/fall scene. I layered lots of cute elements horizontally across the center of the page.

I used the fussy-cut Pumpkin that says “Thankful for You” as my title piece. My last step in finishing a layout is always adding the smallest elements to fill in a blank space or to create balance in the design. The tiny little sunflowers, was my last step for this layout.

I must say, this is my favorite layout I have created in a while. It makes me happy just looking at it! I think that is how we should all feel, when we finish a page… happy and thankful for such a wonderful and enjoyable hobby!
