Hello everyone today I have a simple but classic layout to share with you using the beautiful Rose Bud Wreath cut file.
I have used Kaiser Craft Amethyst collection (and I apologise if my white base cardstock looks like it has a blue tinge, purple is such a difficult colour to photograph if you are using a white base paper).
I cut the Rose Bud wreath at 10×10 inches. I used wet glue to attach and once dry I added a row of machine stitching on the circle part of the wreath. Put your machine stitching speed to it’s lowest and sewing on thin paper pieces like this are easier. So my rose bud did not look flat, (once I have used the release compound function to pull out the rose petals) I attached with foam tape to raise them, I also did the same with the leaves. It really is worth the time for the effect!
I added a border strip to the top and bottom of my page to create a stark contrast to the white and finished off by adding a row of tiny adhesive pearls. I fussy cut some butterflies and attached with foam tape following the flow of the wreath.
I added my photo using an insta frame die cut, but these are so easy to create yourself. I again added with foam tape so I could add a floral bunch behind the frame and finished off with a sub title ‘happiness’ die cut.
Lastly I added another phrase sentiment and pretty butterfly. I went back and added some lilac NUVO pearl drop to the wings of the butterflies which tie in with the small pearls on the border strips.
I love this Rose Bud Wreath, it is so classic! We have lots of florals in the shop if you love this look as much as I do.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you are all safe and well.
